
Student Discipline
While a child is in the school, the parental authority is delegated to the school teachers and he/she represents the parent for the purpose of correction.

A) Uniforms

Wearing clean clothes is part of school discipline. Students are expected to observe habits of personal cleanliness and wear clean clothes. Wearing school uniform is part of school discipline. In our school, boys shall wear off white (milky cream) shirts and olive green pants, while the girls will wear off white (milky cream) blouses and olive green skirts.
PET Uniform should be worn on Wednesdays & Saturdays.
B) Misbehaviour with girls:-

Offending girls either by obscene gestures or by using vulgar language or by physical contacts are punishable, even leading to suspension and dismissal.
C) Suspension and Dismissal (A.P.E.R. 122):-

Suspension and Expulsion is used only for serious reasons. In spite of the best efforts of teachers and school authority, if a student is habitually late, irregular, lazy, unclean, deliberately lying, uses obscene words, acts insubordinates, very poor academic performance, causes disturbance, non payment of fees, possessing dangerous instruments, hurting or threatening to hurt other students/staff and where there is no reasonable prospect in moral reformation in him/her and where the retention of such a student would be injurious to the morals of other students or undermining the discipline and reputation of the institution that student may be dismissed.
D) General Discipline for Students

1. All the students must reach the school well in time. Latecomers will have to get written permission from the principal. Those who reach the school before time should sit in their seats in the classroom and study silently. Permission of the teacher incharge is required for going out before the first bell.

2. Before every assembly, from the first warning bell there must be perfect silence in the school building and on the ground. At the second bell the children must file up in silence to the assembly.
3. Students must come to school in clean, neat and proper uniforms. They should keep with them the texts & note books required for the classes they attend.

4. The School Uniform should be strictly in accordance with the pattern prescribed by the school.
5. All are expected to speak English in the school premises.
6. Books considered objectionable or obscene should not be brought to school.
7. The students must greet the teachers wherever they meet them for the first time in the day. When a teacher entering the class, the students must keep standing until the teacher has asked them to sit down or has occupied his/her seat.
8. Students are not allowed to carry mobile phones or any electronic gadgets to the school.
9. A pupil absent from an examination for any reason will not be re-examined.
10. Every student is responsible for the safe custody of his / her belongings. The school will not be responsible for their loss. Ornaments and jewellery of any kind are not allowed in the school. Pupils should not bring large amounts of money to the school.
11. Absolute silence and perfect order should be maintained 4 by all pupils while going to the Assembly ground, Laboratory, Computer Room, Play ground or while returning to classes.1
12. Students will not be called to answer telephone calls.
13. The school building and premises should be kept clean and tidy. Any damage caused to school property or properties owned by others will have to be made good. Damage caused by accidents should be reported to the school authorities.
14. Immoral actions, insubordination to authorities, willful damage to property, consumption of intoxicants or tobacco products, skulking, stealing, malpractice in examination etc., are grave reasons for severe disciplinary action and dismissal.
15. The school reserves the right to compel the parents to withdraw their wards if their progress in studies is quite unsatisfactory or their attendance is irregular or their conduct is harmful to other children.
16. Permission from the Headmaster is necessary for leaving the school premises during school hours.
17. If a pupil, for unexplained reason, has been absent/from/ school for more than a month his/her name is struck off the roll and as a rule he/she is not re-admitted.
18. Pupils who are late or absent must bring a written application.
19. Pupils are not allowed to present the teacher with any gift at school without the consent of the principal.
20.Pupils who attempt to copy during examination/tests or bring manuscripts printed matter, even once will be taken as a serious offence & will forfeit the right to write the rest of the exams or may be expelled in case of a serious offence.
21.Silence must be observed in the verandahs and on the stairways, corridors and during class hours. There should be no talking aloud at the change of periods.
22. During absence of the teacher the class-leaders will be responsible for the order and discipline of the class.
23.If a pupil is ill for more than 3 days the parents or guardians must inform the school authorities, either personally or in writing and produce a doctor's certificate.
24. No collection of funds for any purpose may be made in the school without the approval of the Principal.
25. Finger nails must be cut short and kept clean.
26. Personal cleanliness and hygiene are greatly recommended to all. The pupils should be particularly careful not to throw any papers, litter, etc. anywhere in the school premises. They should use the baskets and bins especially provided for this purpose.
27. No pupil will be excused for games, drill and sports activities, unless a medical certificate is produced. Those pupils availing themselves of the exemption must remain with the others on the grounds and not in the classrooms.
28.A Pupil's character will be taken into consideration for award winning.
29.Students are expected to be always respectful towards the management and the staff. Gratitude is to be shown by good behaviour during his/her tenure as a student of the school as well as after leaving school.
30. Students are expected to imbive clean eating habits. When they come to school they must carry along with lunch box, a water bottle, napkin and a eating spoon. Every student must carry a hand kerchief with him/her
